Buckley Book Club: The Most Fun We Ever Had
Calling all book lovers! Join us for an evening of great conversation, good company, and a little literary escape in the Lower School Library.
We’ll gather to discuss Claire Lombardo’s The Most Fun We Ever Had, a warm, witty, and wonderfully messy novel about family, marriage, love, and the complicated relationships that shape our lives. At the center of the story is the Sorenson family—a long-married couple and their four very different daughters—whose lives remind us that even the families we know best can still surprise us.
Come ready to share your thoughts, debate your favorite characters, and connect with fellow Buckley parents over a book that is sure to give us plenty to talk about.

Parents Night Out/Sleep Under Movie Night
Ready to start your holiday shopping in peace-or just craving a well-deserved night off? We've got you covered! Mrs. Lituchy and Ms. Terry, along with PA President Jenni Sikov, are hosting an epic "Almost Sleepover" for K-5 students in the Lower School Library.
Kids can throw on their favorite pajamas, roll out their sleeping bags, and get ready for the ultimate movie night on the big screen! Between creative crafts, hot pizza, and delicious homemade cookies, your happy campers will be fully entertained from start to finish. Drop them off for a magical evening of fun with friends, and enjoy a stress free night on the town!

Color Me Mine Experience
Calling all fall artists! 🍂🎨 It’s time to get creative and enjoy a Color Me Mine experience, compliments of Color Me Mine owner Stacey Michrowski. We’ll provide all the tools and paint—you just bring your creativity! Spend a fun fall afternoon painting your own one-of-a-kind masterpiece to take home and enjoy. Pizza, plenty of laughs, and autumn fun provided!

Friendsgiving “Mediterranean Style”
Join us for a Partybook cooking class with Chef Nicole Dayani, founder of Nicole’s Kitchen LA — cookbook author, culinary studio founder, and a familiar face in LA’s food community. Known for her lively, hands-on cooking classes, Nicole turns time in the kitchen into a celebration—mixing bold flavors, practical tips, conversation, and plenty of fun along the way. Come cook, gather, and share the table with us for an experience made to be savored.

For me, food isn't just a passion, it's a way of life. Recognizing the power of food in creating bonds between generations, friends, family and just about anyone, my passion for cooking was sparked when I used cooking as a way to keep myself busy during finals while studying at UCLA. What started out as a way to distract myself became my life’s destiny.
